Southern Utah University’s bachelor of science in chemistry is an active discipline vital to human existence and essential to the understanding of industrial, economic, medical, biological and environmental issues. Students study and research in modern, fully-mediated wireless classrooms and laboratory facilities that are equipped with a full range of laboratory instruments. Our professional chemistry emphasis is certified by the American Chemical Society and our chemistry program routinely ranks above the 90th percentile of the nation according to the Educational Testing Services major field exam.
