Host an SUU PREP Field Trip
Thank you for your desire to host a field trip for SUU PREP.
SUU PREP is a free summer academic program operated by the SUU College of Engineering & Computational Sciences. We provide three summers of rigorous academic instruction, educational hands-on projects, challenging homework assignments, and daily career awareness for 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students who have an interest and aptitude in Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Mathematics fields. SUU PREP strives to provide opportunities for high achieving students to pursue STEM studies and careers.
Our goal for field trips is to introduce students to a variety of STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) career options by helping them learn more about different careers by those currently working in that field. We appreciate your willingness to introduce our students to your career field!
SUU PREP 2024 will run on the following schedule
- Classes: June 3 - June 21, 2024
- Break: June 24 - July 5, 2024
- Classes: July 8 - 26, 2024
Field trips are scheduled for Fridays. We can accommodate your schedule, provided the field trip can be conducted between 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.
