Outdoor Education Series

Southern Utah is a hotspot of outdoor recreation. Expansive desert, snowy mountain peaks, meandering and rushing rivers, calm reservoirs, intricate slot canyons, and soaring rock cliffs establishes Southern Utah as a world class destination for all manner of outdoor enthusiasts.

Sitting right in the midst of this wonderland is Southern Utah University. SUU has taken many steps in promoting the benefits of outdoor recreation: taking part in (and securing first place in 2017) in the Outdoor Nation challenge, building a world-class Outdoor Recreation program, and providing trips and cheap rentals to its students via SUU Outdoors.

In an effort to bring even more knowledge of Southern Utah outdoor recreation opportunities, to establish a more inclusive outdoor community, and inspire students and communities to get out and play, SUU Outdoors hosts the Outdoor Education Series.

The Outdoor Education Series will be held at SUU Outdoors Basecamp.
