Definition and Amounts

Tuition waivers are awarded in various amounts as a credit toward your tuition expense and have no cash value. For example, tuition waivers cannot be used for fees or books. Students receiving a tuition waiver are expected to enroll for 6 or more credit hours per semester and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Students are not expected to work in any capacity in exchange for a tuition waiver. Students are free to seek full-time or part-time employment or an internship regardless of receiving a tuition waiver. Students receiving other tuition waivers will not be qualified for this tuition waiver. Out-of-state/online-only students and international students are not eligible for a tuition waiver at this time. Please visit the Financial Aid or International Affairs offices for more information on funding options.

Graduate Assistantship

The MPA program employs a graduate assistant each year, and other graduate assistant positions are available across campus. See Jobs for T-Birds for current vacancies.
