Admission to the Master of Arts - Professional Communication

At SUU, we've streamlined the admission process for the M.A. in Professional Communication to help you get started quickly and easily.

Admission Requirements

  • Official Transcript
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution*
  • No GRE required

*Applicants with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a cumulative undergraduate or graduate GPA of 2.70 or in the last 60 credit hours (whichever is higher) are qualified for the program. Applicants with a GPA below 2.70 GPA are encouraged to apply and will be considered for admission on a case-by-basis considering factors such as relevant work experience.

Transcript

Please submit official transcript from the college/university in which a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution was obtained.

  • Applicants who have graduated from SUU do not need to submit a transcript
  • International transcripts must include a transcript evaluation from a third-party service such as SpanTran or WES showing that the degree is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree
