  • Remember to order your graduation regalia and then pick it at the Grad Fair on Thursday, April 28, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hunter Alumni Center. If you can't attend, authorize someone to pick up for you or make other arrangements by using the Regalia Authorization Form.
  • 66th Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to be SUU's 2022 Commencement Speaker. Scroll down to access the Commencement Livestream link. 
  • Tickets are not required for any of SUU's Graduation Ceremonies in the America First Event Center. Seating is first-come, first-served, and overflow seating will be available in these locations. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. for the Commencement Ceremony and 20 minutes before each Degree Convocation start time.
  • Graduates and guests are asked not to bring bags to the America First Event Center for the 9 a.m. Commencement Ceremony. Bag checks will be in place at each entrance.
  • SUU will follow all COVID-19 protocols established by the state of Utah and our local health department.

University Festivities

8:00 a.m. - Commencement Lineup on Upper Campus

8:30 a.m. - Commencement Procession
Traditional procession that begins on Upper Campus. Graduates in the colleges designated to graduate on Friday, April 29, will walk under the Carter Carillon and are asked to be on the Upper Campus at 8:00 a.m. to line up. 

9:00 a.m. - University Commencement Ceremony, America First Event Center
The formal commencement ceremony that features a keynote address, student speaker, honorary doctorate degrees, and the moving of tassels. Tickets are not required for this ceremony, but seating preference will be made for graduates and their families. The ceremony will be live streamed into overflow locations
