With his parents and many siblings being proud T-Bird alumni, choosing to attend Southern Utah University was an easy choice for Taylor Adair. With an impressive leadership scholarship, Taylor decided to join the SUU family tradition.

At SUU, Taylor majored in marketing. Along with his studies, he kept busy working as a member of student government, as well as becoming the first president of the SUU circle of Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society. In addition to his extracurricular activities, Taylor worked for 5 different campus offices. He also worked as an intern for Congressman Jason Chaffetz in Washington, D.C. before graduating as Marketing Student of the Year in 2014.

The key to Taylor’s success was working hard.

“SUU gives you every opportunity to make a name for yourself if you're willing to work hard enough,” said Taylor.

Taylor’s work ethic and childhood dream led him to a career as a Military Aviator for the United States Air Force. He utilizes his leadership and communication skills everyday.

“As an Officer in the Air Force, my duty is as a leader first and foremost” said Taylor. “My specialty as a pilot is to fly military aircraft and lead a crew or team to carry out our missions, using our aircraft as a multi functional weapons system.”

Taylor attributes his success to the small personal class sizes and excellent instruction from invested faculty and staff.

“At SUU, I learned that I was capable of doing more than I had previously thought,” said Taylor. “I discovered a talent for leadership and organization. Each mentor I had contributed different advice and guidance that increased my personal growth.”
