SUU Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (CAE-CD)

The premise behind the Center is: The protection and integrity of information.

Southern Utah University is designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity, and through the Center we work to provide rigorous cyber security education in order to improve the Knowledge, skills and abilities of the workforce in cyber security. In today's information age it is imperative that we have qualified and skilled workers who are able to secure personal and organizational information to help protect individuals and companies against malicious actors.

The Center provides a means for students to apply the knowledge and skills obtained through their coursework. The Center includes space on campus that is dedicated to Digital Forensics, and a Security Operations Center.

The Cybersecurity degree  within the department of Computer Science and Cybersecurity is the program of study for the NCAE-C designation.
